The bare LEDs are very uncomfortable to look at, so I put a diffuser over the top. This is a clear acrylic sheet rubbed with a bit of sandpaper, but no doubt it can be bought pre-distressed. Mounted on 6mm standoffs. First thing I learned - don't put the mounts too close to the LED - it's very obvious when lit up.
This lamp should be using 7.5W and putting out 750lumens. But maybe using 11.5W from the mains due to mediocre supply efficiency. Not measured yet.
The colour and spread is excellent.
