Hi All

Here is the first draft of the key to a Hydrological Cave Symbol Font for
comment.

I have put in four directional glyphs for each of the the flow indicators
i.e. every 90 degrees.

Is this good enough or should we have 45, 20,10 etc  degree intervals?

10 degrees would consume 36 X 3 = 108 glyphs.  This is viable but would
push us beyond

 the  use of the visible keys into using a soft font utilising insert
commands.

Also do you think the symbols should be free standing or should I put a
border round them?

I shall do a redraft of the Mines font next and will enhance the three
shaft glyphs to show 

whether the shaft is in the floor or the roof of  the passage.  I will also
put  in some symbols for

 boreholes.
